Bryce Parker...I am not sure how Bryce died,I know he was in Austin and I heard he was in some trouble.We all knew Bryce in the very beginning before there were any clubs or even a scene.we hung at Bryces house....made funny little films ,drank alot & listened to alot of music.No matter how much abuse came spewing at Bryce he always managed to be upbeat and happy.I would walk in to the room and I would hear OH LOIS......LOIS,he would come running flailing his arms around.I hope Bryce had some truly happy times while he lived in Austin...Bryce was the founder of E.S.R. Recording studio&produced the album( Are We Too Late For The Trend).
Jeff Phillips,local skate talent,well I just found out from Craig that Jeff has been dead for 7 years,seems he shot and killed himself.SHOCK out of everyone I knew I would have expected Jeff to be the last to ever do anything suicidel.Jeff is truly missed.

Cherie Morell:(aka,Chit or Shit Cherie,Cherie died from kidney failure in the Hospital she never quit drinkin and druggin,well it killed her.Cheries claim to fame was The V Degenerates.
Will Clay:Will played in a number of bands,Red Tapes,Telephones&Snakes on Everything to name a few Will died from a Heroin overdose after a very long battle to stay clean.Will was a fun ny guy and we will miss his sense of humor!
Mike Broch ,AkA Mikey or Mite Vomit....Mikey V was the lead singer for The Vomit Pigs.The VPs were great.Mikey died on Bobby Soxx's back porch.I heard the real story what happened to Mikey.IT SUCKS,NUFF SAID!!!!
Tom Foote,truly a LOCO GRINGO.....Tom was also heavy into Heroin.Well seems he passed out in his buddys car ,The guy didn't know what to do so he left Tom on his brother Don's doorstep...and there Tom died fron overdose..His claim to fame was The Loco Gringos.

Abby Briggs:Abby was Paul Orr's girlfriend,I did'nt know her very well but she seemed like a pretty cool chick.Abby's death was truly tragic,She stopped to help someone on the highway one night and was struck and killed.Why the FUCK can't people slow down and watch where they are going!!! Abby should still be here!
Terry Jo's friend Howard,He's the guy in those infamous I Hate The Nervebreaker's pictures.I did'nt know Howard very well either..I believe he died from AIDs in Houston...Dreaded disease I wish they'd find a cure for it.

Platinum Paul..(The Skuds)..died from Luekemia. The Skuds were probably the most obnoxious band around the DJ's time ..Dolores would not hardley let them play ...The Skuds were great!!!!!
ROBERT JACKS... 1959 - 2001....THE INFAMOUS LEATHERFACE FROM...RETURN OF THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE..DIED AT AGE 41 FROM MARFA'S SYNDROME a geneticaly predisposed disease.. Robert worked with Gibby Haynes ( The Butthole Surfers ),and Debbie Harry ALSO WORKED ON "BAD GIRLS" &" BOY TROUBLE" . As I sit here 6 AM 2001 Early Day ..just like every day ,got to get the kid off to school. Reading the E - Mail Chris Wing sent about Robert Jacks . I am listening to Mike Martt's ( Low and Sweet Orchestra) and this line sticks in my head "TODAY SURELY AIN'T THE WORST DAY THAT I'VE EVER SEEN" and with each new report of our friends who seem to be dropping like flies the reality of just how short life can be as we get older ..feels our feet inch a little closer to the grave. Then I remember what Texas Terri signed in the guestbbook "Can We Go Back And Do It All Over Again" Hmmm? Could we handle it again is the question? I always knew one thing for sure through it all ,I knew I did not want to die ! Even though sometimes it seemed like the cool thing to do .By all rights should any of us still be here ? We feel the tugging at our ankles bringing us just a little closer wondering when the final yank will occur. Older and just a little wiser maybe ,but still saddened when I have to add to this page . Here we go again and as life seems to be flying by for me ...every time I get another E-Mail informing me of another friend that has died ..Life all the sudden comes to a screeching halt and there again is Mortality breaking the door down .. Val has informed me this time is Gary Guthrie AKA ( Gary Wheelchair). August 1,2005 adding yet another. friend to the list . today is 1-12-06 just barely started the New Year and I was just informed that Doug Townsend has lost a 9 month battle with Cancer .Another sad day . Erin it is 2009 and yet more of our crew members are passing ...David Hill , Lux Interior ..... who will add me to this page when my time is here ??

Robert Wade Clemons AKA " Bad Bob" 6-20-59 to 2-27-97....I met Bob when I lived in a small apartment with Jon Lacey in Dallas ...I know he played bass guitar , and married TerryJo after I introduced them .They had a daughter together ,then the marriage fell apart and they went their seperate ways..we were all very close dope buddies but thats not what killed Bob, He was a victim of Road Rage how fuckin pointless is that shit ! Seems he was cut off on the highwayand the enraged driver chased him down and shot him point blank in front of his home in Knoxville ,Tennessee..now I am sure Bob being the hot head he was probably flipped em off and was ready for a fight and least expected to be shot to death . I had alot of good laughs with Bob and TerryJo, Bob use to love The Stranglers as much as I did ! Whatever happened to a good old fashioned fist fight in the street!
Richard Hayes ( The Hickoids) .. Just got an E Mail from Janet Hammer informing me that Richard died this year from a Heart Attack. Also Tom 'Scarecrow' Barrows unsure what Tom died from ,rumors of Drug Abuse get tossed around . I knew Tom pretty well and even though he could be an obnoxious asshole we had fun and he hung around with Craig ,Lydia and the Skate Scene.. Janet told a funny story about Tom trying to get in her pants and she was so drunk she threw up all over him ! hehe

10-9-02 GUISEPPE CODELUPPI .. From The ITALIAN band "RAW POWER" died Oct.6 2002 at age 44 from a Heart attack ... dammit ! These guys stayed at our house in Oak Cliff when they played Dallas I think in 84.What a bunch of nice guys !

Gary Guthrie AKA ( Gary Wheelchair ) passed away on March 13 ,2003 fighting Emphysema . I remember seeing Gary at The Sex Pistols in Dallas at The Longhorn Ballroom and I thought strange a guy in a wheelchair being here .. but Gary was a wonderfully creative force .. His band in Austin was called Talmadge d' Amour( 1982 -1983).. They opened for Killing Joke & New Order at Clubfoot .. Killing Joke was one of the best shows I have ever seen !

Doug Townsend R.I.P. 9-19-1958 to 1-11-2006 .Doug was a funny sweet guy and a fantastic drummer ,he played in The Dot Vaeth Group,Supermans Girlfriend ,The Ralphs,The Hoods&Yeah Yeah Yeah .One of Texas's Punk Poineers .Doug was fighting Cancer for about 9 Months ,Sad to say The Cancer won .He was diagnosed with Lung & Lymphatic cancer . 47 years old ! still just a baby !.we will miss you Dougee !
David Lee Hill 1950-1-13-09 passed away from Liver Cancer caused by his HEPC.Guitarman for bands ,
